Yay, Steelers won the Super Bowl. I’m a fan of former LA Rams and LA Raiders players, so I’m glad that the Bus got his championship. I almost got a tear in my eye when he gave his speech at the trophy ceremony.
You know what the best part of the Super Bowl is for me? It’s not the the halftime show, the commercials or the game itself. My secret little fetish is flipping through other channels to see what sort of garbage they show during the game. The contents of what they show on the other channels don’t merit any special discussion, but the chuckles they bring make the experience worthwhile. Some channels try hard to steal the Super Bowl viewing demographic (like everyone with pubic hair who doesn’t wear a cape in public), some channels appeal to those with no interest in the game and some just don’t give a shit. It’s all just fascinating, really.
In other news, I had another scare with my webhost today. They like randomly denying me FTP access and fudging with my domain name settings. I’ll have to consider switching hosts once this plan is up.
In other other news, the BBS is a borderline bust. I’ll have to reconsider its future at the end of the month. I’ll make a conscientious effort to boost activity, but in the end it’ll probably boil down to my general disinterest in what other people have to say.
Alas, why can’t everyone be as interesting as me?
