I renewed the site’s domain name. I know I foreshadowed the coming of the apocalypse and gave all sorts of cryptic vibes about how my Internet existence has lost its meaning and that I was seriously contemplating the idea of pulling the plug on my Internet life.
Fuck that. I got a very important personal email address on lk.com. My job pays well enough that I can afford $8 a year to keep my rights to this domain name.
As for the webhosting. That’s still up in the air, but my recent course of action pretty much mandates that I get some sort of hosting plan as well. The only thing that’s uncertain now is keeping up this site. As much as others seem to like it, it’s still an incriminating snapshot of my early 20s. I don’t know if I want to keep something like this around forever. Then again, there are those Internet archiving sites so my sordid past is probably stuck with me forever no matter what I do on my end.
Okay, I need a good webhost, so let’s hear them suggestions (lol no comments and no BBS).
