It makes me feel sad when an entire month goes by and I don’t make a post, so here it is.
I’ll open and close this post with two philosophical questions.
- Would learning Mandarin Chinese improve my professional life?
I’m leaning towards… yes.
- Redskins -5.5 over the Bills in DC. Will the Skins cover or should I take the points?
Remember, a player of legitimate consequence died this week (unlike previous professional sports deaths where 7th round AFL-bound rejects kick the bucket). Emotions can and probably will dictate the outcome of this game. If the tragedy didn’t occur, I’d definitely put my money on the Redskins, though. But I’m more shocked that the game is still on the board, or that the line wasn’t altered. Gambling is serious business.
