This day only comes once every four years, so I thought it’d be appropriate to write something. I’ll write something meaningful if I have time later in the day.

I played mucho Marvel with Pat and Wang (former Bearcade buddies) today. It’s such a stupid game but I can’t stop playing it. The good thing is that I’m definitely getting my money’s worth for my stick. The bad thing is that I’m playing way more games that I should. More games means less time for 4n1m3!!!!!!

We had dinner at a KFC somewhere in Claremont. It was the smallest and dirtiest KFC that I’ve ever been to. The side orders were slightly questionable. The mashed potatoes had a grey tint and the coleslaw didn’t taste right. I ordered crispy chicken strips but they gave me these fried pieces of something. I couldn’t figure out what they were but they sure-as-hell weren’t chicken strips. All I know is, I’m not eating any more KFC for a while. It’s a shame too, since I’m a big fan of their Hot Wings. It was like eating in a third world country. I should have just gone to the 33 Cent Store and eaten some plankton. The Mexican Council of Food knows what’s best for me, right?

I pretty much wasted my entire weekend. I’m wasting time as I’m writing this by waiting for R.O.D the TV episodes 23 and 24 to finish downloading (currently at 260 kBytes/sec!). I’ll probably watch those two episodes and then go to sleep. I can’t wait for R.O.D though. The final 4 episodes should prove to be very exciting. I won’t have any spontaneous ejaculations though… or will I?

Before I forget, I beat Pat for Supreme Championship of the Universe in Marvel! So far I’m 2-1 in SCotU competitions. Team Scrub mirror matches = hella best.

Shitfuckingly horrid…

I’m writing this because I’m waiting for something to download and I have nothing else to do. My cousin sent Onimusha 2 for PS2 from Korea for no reason at all. While I’m very thankful for getting a new game for free, I must say that it plays like Resident Evil with swords. It’s not a big shock or anything since they’re both made by Capcom but where’s the creativity?

I never understood the logic behind the controls of Capcom 3-D action games. People who’ve played Resident Evil know what I’m talking about. At least the camera is fixed, otherwise these games would be down right unplayable.

These days, I’ve been enjoying 春日歩の通販生活 (Kasuga Ayumu no Tsuuhan Seikatsu or Kasuga Ayumu’s Mail Order Life). It’s not really a game, but it’s a desktop entertainment software. It’s like a virtual pet, but with less interaction. You’re basically watching Osaka do stupid random shit in her room. All you can do is watch because you can’t tell her to do anything. Once a day, she turns on the home shopping channel and you can choose to buy the item that’s featured on that particular day. I spent more than 75% of her money on a refrigerator that she hasn’t even used yet. The only thing she ever plays with on a consistent basis is her lightsabre. She’s also been wearing a hardhat for the past 2 weeks or so. I would say that I’m worried about her behavior, but frankly I’d be more worried if she wasn’t wearing one. Osaka is down to her last 490 yen. She needs money fast, and lots of it. Maybe she can punk Chiyo into giving up her lunch money but I think she brings her own lunch to school.

For being a total uncoordinated dipshit in the manga and anime, she certainly dances really well in here. I just bought her a pair of what appears to be either vampire bat wings or a pair of eyebrows. The worst part is that she won’t put either of those in her new and expensive refrigerator.

I bought some manga from Amazon.co.jp today. The total came out to be around 1600 yen. I have no beef with that, since that’s the cover price. What really pissed me off was how much they charged me for shipping. Observe…

The worst part is that I actually went through with the order because I couldn’t find these books in America. I also found out that Amazon.co.jp does not ship video games outside of Japan. It doesn’t really matter though because I’m sure they’ll charge like 25000 yen for shipping anyways. Fuckers…

In other news, I’m debating on how to waste $60+. I’m thinking of getting either D.C.P.S or 宇宙のステルヴィア. This is around the point where everyone stops reading, so I’ll talk about random shit. RSF has been really slow lately. When RSF has no new posts, a tear comes to my eye. =(

I want to change the picture too but I can’t think of anything good. It’s only natural though, since not many things can surpass Chiyo + Chiyochichi in terms of sheer awesomeness.

It’s raining right now and I have a class at 8 AM tomorrow. Life is awesome!

And a follow up…

Where did the defense go? For both teams??? Going for 2 two times and giving up a 2 point-conversion definitely screwed up the Panthers’ chances, but everyone knows how clear hindsight is.

I hate football.

I still find it amazing that the biggest game of the most popular sport in America is overshadowed by everything that have nothing to do with the game. The commercials I can understand, but the halftime shows get more and more ridiculous each year.

As for the game, I’m still rooting for the Panthers because I have money riding on them. I was initially unimpressed with the Panthers’ lack of offensive production, but they’ve somewhat redeemed themselves on their final 2 possessions of the first half. However, their defense is starting to go sour and that might come back to bite me in the ass.
